My math teacher gave me a cheat sheet in grade school that correlated mathematical operations to words. Suddenly, I understood when to add, subtract, divide, or multiply when faced with a word problem. In the MCAT all of the calculations we encounter will be word problems. Therefore it is well worth our time to learn when certain keywords indicate specific mathematical operations.
